A small plane crashed at a Passaic County airport on Monday morning.
West Milford officials say that first responders were called to Greenwood Lake Airport just before 11 a.m. for reports that a small plane crashed at the end of the runway.
Officials say first responders evaluated the people who were on the plane and determined that they were not seriously injured.
Officials say that the plane started leaking fuel following the crash. They say the leak was contained and the plane was removed from the runway.
The airport was closed for about an hour following the crash but has since reopened.
The Federal Aviation Administration will determine why the plane crashed.
