'Slow down and enjoy life:' WinterFest 2018 has everyone in the holiday spirit

WinterFest 2018 is officially underway in White Plains and dozens of vendors are hoping to help shoppers find the perfect gifts for their loved ones.

WinterFest 2018 is officially underway in White Plains and dozens of vendors are hoping to help shoppers find the perfect gifts for their loved ones.
The event has everything from candle and jewelry making to food and music played by children from the area.
People who went to the event say they really feel like the holiday spirit is here.
"I hope everybody who comes out to WinterFest today, just takes it and enjoys the holidays," says one vendor. "There's great food, great gifting. This is the holiday, just slow down and enjoy life a little bit."
WinterFest 2018 runs through Sunday Dec. 23.
