The new location held its grand opening over the weekend at the same spot Fairway used to be on 847 Pelham Parkway in the Post Road Plaza.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Sunday with Village of Pelham Mayor Chance Mullen.
The store gave away gift bags to the first 100 customers and the next 200 customers received roses.
"It's a grand opening; we're so excited, we had a big crowd out
here early. We're really excited to share with the community this unique
shopping experience at the ShopRite at Pelham," says Amanda Fisher, Marketing Manager
Village Supermarket.
