Ulster and Sullivan counties will be opening up warming centers this week as temperatures drop.
In Sullivan County, a warming center at United Methodist Church on North Main Street in Liberty will open Friday.

St. John's Episcopal Church in Monticello will open on Wednesday as a warming center.
They will be open to anyone from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. every night through April 15.
The county says over 200 people stayed last year between the two shelters, and it expects more this year due to an increase in evictions and a shortage of affordable housing.
The shelter in Ulster County at 2nda Iglesia La Mision church in Kingston will be open through 9 a.m. Friday.
Those who need closer shelter should check with the county to see what's available.
