A new development is breathing fresh life into the grounds of an abandoned hospital.
Local leaders and developers Wednesday announced a 31,000 square-foot mixed-use residential development for seniors on the property of the Butterfield Hospital in Cold Spring.
Fox News CEO Roger Ailes was in attendance for the dedication of a senior center to be named in his honor there. Additionally, a park will be named after former New York Gov. George Pataki for his commitment to preserving more than 1 million open-space park areas in the state.
Developers say that they hope to finish construction of the development by next summer.
