A second defendant, Steven Brown, has pleaded guilty to six felony charges, including concealment of a corpse, in connection with the gruesome deaths of two Hudson Valley residents, Malcolm Brown and Donna Conneely, whose remains were found scattered across Long Island in March.

Brown admitted to participating in a plan to kill and conceal the deaths but did not reveal the murderer's identity.

Brown's housemate, Amanda Wallace, previously pleaded guilty to five felony charges, naming Jeffrey Mackey and Alexis Nieves as the perpetrators.

Both Brown and Wallace are cooperating with authorities.
