The controversy over Common Core testing continued Thursday night at Scarsdale High School.
The chancellor of the state Board of Regents addressed parents' questions about the test that forced so many students to "opt out" in recent weeks.
Opponents of Common Core testing say the state's one size fits all approach doesn't serve their needs.
State officials say significant federal funding is at stake if districts can't come to an agreement on teacher evaluations.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo says the new system for teacher evaluations will shake up the status quo, by focusing on teacher performance rather than seniority.
