Samantha Crawford
Samantha Crawford is a reporter for News 12.
Crawford joined the News 12 team as a Multimedia Journalist in May of 2018.
She has extreme passion for news gathering and makes it her mission to deliver the “thoughtful and fair stories” she says viewers deserve.
Crawford is a New Jersey native who started her career in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania as a reporter with Blue Ridge News 11. Within months, she was quickly promoted to Evening Anchor and Producer. She was in charge of uncovering a wide range of local content and delivered her findings in a 30 minute newscast everyday.
Prior to Pennsylvania, she studied Journalism and Digital Media at Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. She graduated with a 3.9 GPA in May of 2016.
While earning her degree, Crawford was a Junior Reporter for Fox 29 Good Day Weekend, airing over 20 stories in the #4 market of Philadelphia! Dozens of students in the surrounding areas applied, and she was one of 10 chosen for the worthwhile opportunity. There, she was a “one-man band,” shooting and editing her stories all by herself. She even appeared LIVE!
When Crawford is not reporting, she can be found working out at the nearest gym, shopping and spending time with her family and friends.
You can join her along her journey on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
