Police say a 17-year-old boy was allegedly driving drunk when he slammed into multiple cars in Peekskill Saturday morning.

The crash happened just before 6:30 a.m. on Bear Mountain Bridge Road.

According to investigators, the teen was driving a 2007 Jeep when he swerved into oncoming traffic and struck two cars, a 2012 Honda and a 2017 Subaru.

Paramedics took the 17-year-old to a nearby hospital. Police say he suffered non-life threatening injuries during the crash.

The extent of the other drivers injuries, if any, was not immediately known.

Investigators say the Peekskill teen is charged with driving while intoxicated - first offense.
