Authorities say a Rye High School graduate died last week of an apparent overdose.
Elliot Meister, a sophomore at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, is the sixth Rye High School graduate to die of an apparent overdose in the past two years.
The 20-year-old was studying engineering at the school.
The Rye school district says it is providing grief counseling to students.
