Britain's royal couple is on a New York City tour, and they made their way to Brooklyn Monday night.
The royals attended the Nets-Cleveland Cavaliers game at the Barclays Center.
Protesters gathered outside the venue to protest the recent grand jury decisions in the Michael Brown and Eric Garner cases.
Protesters told News 12 that they wanted their message to be heard by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, as well as the NYPD, who had a large presence outside the Barclays Center.
Their three-day Big Apple getaway also includes a visit to the National Sept. 11 Memorial, a meeting with the Clintons and a fundraiser at the Metropolitan Museum.
