The roof of one building in Morrisania has been transformed into a playground for kids.
BronxWorks unveiled the play area on top of the Carolyn McLaughlin Community Center following six months of renovations. It's complete with monkey bars, slides and a small rock climbing wall.
Officials say that the roof, which is 7,000-square feet, will also host a number of activities during summer months, including exercise classes and gardening.
Most of the funding for the rooftop playground came from the office of Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr.
