A Rockland teen is behind bars this morning in connection with the robbery and kidnapping of a taxi driver.
Police say Guillermo Carrillo-Iraheta, 18, of Suffern, is accused of carjacking a taxi in December with two other men in New Jersey. They say the trio robbed and kidnapped the driver, before dumping him on the side of the New York State Thruway.
The driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to authorities.
All three men were being held in the Bergen County Jail in lieu of $400,000 bail.
