North Rockland Central School District is pausing in-person learning for the holidays.
The district says it will be implementing a "Holiday Pause," moving to fully remote starting Monday Nov. 23. It plans to resume hybrid learning on Tuesday Jan. 19.
The decision comes after a recent spike in cases.
Meanwhile, Meadow Hill School in Newburgh is making the switch to virtual learning today and tomorrow due to an increase in confirmed positive cases there. The district superintendent says the students are expected to continue hybrid learning on Wednesday.
