A Rockland County man is facing charges after police say he used fake money to buy lottery tickets.

Arber Kukaj, 20, of Valley Cottage, is accused of using a phony $100 bill at a Shell gas station in Clarkstown last Friday.

The owner of the store called police after noticing the money could be fake. When police arrived, they found two phony bills on Kukaj. Authorities are still trying to figure out where he got the money.

Kukaj was arraigned and sent to jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.
