Some Rockland County residents are still in the dark and cold as power outages from Christmas continue for a third day.
Residents who still don't have electricity are able to stay warm and charge their phones at Orangetown Town Hall.
In Ramapo, Town Supervisor Michael Specht says he was just about to announced there were 20 outages remaining when a tree collapsed, resulting in nearly 700 more people losing power in the Monsey area.
Rockland County Executive Ed Day says crews are working around the clock to restore power. He said he would grade Orange & Rockland utility crews a B+ on their response to the storm emergency.
Almost all power has been restored in Orangetown.
