yesterdayA Rockland County organization is set to hold its first ever 5K fundraiser on Saturday morning.
Money raised at the "Meet Next Gen Foundation 5K Youth Stride - A Run For Change" event will go toward their back-to-school backpack giveaways, toy drives and more that support those in Spring Valley and beyond.
The organization is even helping to build a school in Uganda.
More than 50 runners had signed up as of Saturday evening, but they said they would like to see even more at the starting line.
