A program to support minority students is coming to Rockland Community College - and it's the first of its kind nationwide.
The school says that while user testing is a common practice for education companies, low-income and minority students are less likely to participate in those programs.
The Lumen Learning partnership with Rockland aims to address that participation by designing equity-centered learning solutions.
Officials say they hope the program can be modeled across the SUNY system and even nationally.
