A
Rockland man is on a mission to give back - one haircut at a time.
Lifelong Rocklander Jamahl Siler cut more than 30 people's hair earlier this week for free - no questions asked - at the barbershop he works at called "Hair Right Here" in Nanuet.
He and a fellow barber from
Newburgh helped people of all ages feel good inside and out. "It gives you that confidence
to really smile and enjoy the holiday experience, knowing that you can look
people in their face, knowing your haircuts good. So that's always the best part
for me. When they look in the mirror and give that smile and check them self
out. I love it," says Siler.
Siler came up with the idea
because he feels he has been blessed this year, so he wants to pass that on to
others the best way he can.
He says he plans to do more
of these free haircut days in the future.
