The Riverfront Library in Yonkers has a new sensory space.
The goal is to help calm, focus or stimulate people with sensory processing challenges.
Everything in the room is meant to assist with self-regulation - down to the furniture, equipment and lighting.
The space also includes a play area for children called The Cove.
