Ricardo, the bull who escaped into Newark Penn Station in December, is still recovering from an infection.

Ricardo remains at an animal hospital recovering from a road rash on his leg, according to Skylands Animal Sanctuary And Rescue. They think he got it during his escape.

The rash turned into an infection, but the Wantage Township animal rescue says Ricardo is doing a little better every day. They say he continues to get the wound cleaned and receive the medicine he needs.

There is no date set for when he'll finally head home.
