A retired Yonkers police officer admitted to arranging for his carting company to pay less than it was supposed to when dumping waste at a Yonkers transfer station.
Robert Chomicki, 60, of Briarcliff Manor, pleaded guilty to two counts of wire fraud, according to court documents.
He entered his plea on April 21 in Federal Court in White Plains. Chomicki faces sentencing in July.
As part of his plea, he has agreed to pay approximately $640,000 in restitution.
His carting company remains in business.
