Things are getting harder and harder for businesses across the Hudson Valley.
Restaurant and bar owners say they are being devastated financially. "I mean we're really slow now…really, really slow now. People are scared to go out. We right now we're doing just delivery and takeout, that's all, but we're not even making half the business that we make every month," says Daniel Mottoa, owner of Chicken Joes.
Other owners tell News 12 they are doing everything they can to survive. "We're making adjustments, we're cutting a lot of staff. We're trying to alternate hours to give everybody a chance to work. Obviously we can't have everyone working here, unfortunately, but we do our best to serve our community and employees," says Juery Gonzalez, the manager at Westchester Taco Grill.
