Residents scoop up Powerball tickets ahead of $337M drawing
People across Westchester and the Hudson Valley were scooping up Powerball tickets and playing their lucky numbers Saturday ahead of a $337 million jackpot drawing.
The Powerball jackpot is one of the largest in United States history.
There are plenty of places throughout Westchester selling tickets, including Dan Tobacco on Yonkers Avenue in Yonkers that sold a $15,000 winning lottery ticket last month.
The Powerball lump sum after taxes is roughly $209 million dollars.
