Many Hudson Valley residents beat the heat by visiting the beach Tuesday.
Visitors said they were not ready to say goodbye to the summer.
"It's nice weather, and I just want to take advantage of the last days of summer," said one beachgoer.
Experts advise to stay hydrated when outside.
News 12 meteorologists say Wednesday and Thursday will be warm, humid and hazy, with temperatures close to 90 degrees.
