A real-life 'Grinch' is on the loose, stealing holiday decorations off the lawns of homes in Orange County.

Homeowner Kevin McConnell showed up Tuesday to a bare lawn at his Port Jervis home on Ball Street. He says someone snatched his family's inflatable Santa, calling the person responsible a low-life. Another homeowner had his 9-foot Santa stolen.

Police say other homes have been hit and so far all they have to go on is witnesses saying they saw a white sedan.

Port Jervis police are asking anyone with information to call them.
