Rapper and Yonkers native DMX could be back in trouble with the law again.
Police in New Jersey are reportedly investigating allegations that DMX, whose name is Earl Simmons, robbed a young man at a Newark gas station over the weekend.
The 21-year-old claims he went up to Simmons to talk about his music. But then he claims a member of the rapper's entourage held a gun to his head, and Simmons grabbed the more than $3,000 and took off.
Simmons, 42, has an arrest record that includes charges of drug possession, animal cruelty and resisting arrest. He served time in prison in 2010 in Arizona.
There have been no arrests as of yet.
