Ramapo police arrested a 61-year-old school bus driver involved in a crash that left a 9-year-old student injured.

Edgar Hawkins faces multiple charges for the March 21 crash, including endangering the welfare of a child.

Investigators say the student exited the school bus at the intersection of Pioneer Avenue and North Airmont Road when he was struck by a Toyota Sienna minivan.

The operator of the tuck remained on scene.
