Ramapo PD: Kitten rescued after being stuck in engine of car

Police say they were dispatched to Lackawanna Trail in Suffern for a report of a cat stuck in the engine block.

The Town of Ramapo Police Department says a kitten was rescued Thursday after being stuck in the engine of a car. 
Police say they were dispatched to Lackawanna Trail in Suffern for a report of a cat stuck in the engine block.
Officers found the kitten stuck in between the engine and the firewall. 
Officers used a car jack and to remove the kitten
The kitten was not injured and is in the care of one of the Ramapo police officers who was on scene.
