In New York's 17th District, five-term Congressman Sean Patrick Maloney (D) is hoping to secure another two years in Washington, D.C. - running against GOP Assemblyman Mike Lawler. Maloney defeated state Sen. Alessandra Biaggi in the August primary.
In New York's newly redrawn 18th District, former Ulster County Executive Pat Ryan will be up against Republican Assemblyman Colin Schmitt. Ryan has been serving New York's 19th District, finishing the rest of now-Lt. Gov. Antonio Delgado's congressional term.
And in New York's new 19th District, Republican Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro hopes to win a seat in our nation’s capital, running against Democrat attorney Josh Riley. Molinaro was defeated by Congressman Pat Ryan in the 19th District's special election.
