Security is on high alert in an Orange County school district as the search for an "armed and dangerous" fugitive continues just across the state line in Pennsylvania.
District officials said this morning that doors are remaining locked and students are being kept inside during recess and gym.
Authorities nearby continue their massive search for alleged cop-killer, Eric Frein. According to police, Frein has threatened mass shootings and is now on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list.
Meanwhile, there are wanted posters in store windows throughout town and residents say they too are on high alert.
Port Jervis authorities say the increased police presence is a precaution and that there is no specific threat to the area or school district.
