Preparations underway as Hudson Valley braces for weekend storm
Officials around Westchester County are encouraging residents to be ready for the possibility of flooding or falling trees.

People all over Westchester County are preparing and bracing for this weekend's storm.
"Taking things off my balcony. I might move my car over to my daughter's house because my apartment seems to flood," said Cathy Kraft, who lives in Mamaroneck.
News 12 spoke with the Mamaroneck harbor master Friday morning about preparations.
"Right now, we're just doing some indoor preps with the shop and putting up some of the equipment, just in case we get any kind of flood water inside. We did send out emails to all the boaters to come down, check their boats," said Capt. Jeff Larusso.
