The JCCA will not be allowed to operate a residential program for unaccompanied migrant children at the Cottage School in Pleasantville for the time being.
The organization has a contract with the federal government to house the children, but a state Supreme Court judge granted a preliminary injunction sought by the Town of Mount Pleasant.
The judge noted that the ruling doesn't necessarily mean the town will be granted a permanent injunction.
Officials say the case could end up going to trial.
