Ramapo police officers spent time with residents at the Promenade at Chestnut Ridge, where a lemonade stand was set up to raise money for the William Paul Faist Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
Residents waved pom poms and welcomed visitors to the assisted living facility on Red Schoolhouse Road.
The event was held to support local emergency responders.
