The future control of the House of Representatives is likely to run right through New York – which is expected to be a major battleground state during next year's election.
This week, New York's top court held a hearing to get arguments from both sides on whether New York should toss out the congressional district lines it used during last year's election.
Also, she was once of the most powerful people in state government – Gov. Andrew Cuomo's top aide. But her fall from grace was tied to his scandal and resignation.
