There are concerns over a recent rash of alleged gunfire incidents in Poughkeepsie. There were three incidents within just the last two days, according to the City of Poughkeepsie PBA.
"It's definitely a disadvantage to this community," says Saleana Henry, who owns Crowned Loc Salon.
Henry is talking about what happened just down the street from her business in Poughkeepsie.
Officials with the City of Poughkeepsie PBA say the gunfire happened Monday night. Shell casings were found on Cannon Street.
About 40 minutes later, officials with the PBA say officers found a car that was struck by bullets on South Avenue.
On Sunday night, the PBA says a home on Forbus Street was also hit.
"It is concerning, but it's the world we live in these days," says Poughkeepsie resident Scott Ruxton.
There's no word if anyone has been arrested or what sparked the gunfire.
News 12 reached out to police for more details, but had not yet heard back.
