Monday marked the busiest mailing day of the year for the U.S. Postal Service.
The USPS was expected to sort through 15.5 billion pieces of mail worldwide Monday.
Lobby assistants at the Main Street location in Yonkers helped to make sure customers were in and out quickly during the holiday season.
Station managers say they are working seven days a week to make sure all deliveries are received on time.
"We have trucks rolling all day long, probably from 7 to 7," says station manager Ed DiPasquale.
