Yale-New Haven Hospital says it is treating a patient with Ebola-like symptoms.
The hospital issued a statement saying the person came in late last night.
The hospital says it has not confirmed or ruled out any diagnosis at this point.
News 12 Connecticut's Frank Recchia reports the emergency room was evacuated when the patient came in.
A city official confirmed to News 12 Connecticut that the patient was one of the students at Yale University that had recently returned from Liberia.
Federal and state health officials have been notified of the situation.
