Port Jervis teacher charged with grand larceny resigns

The district says Regis Foster resigned as of May 5.

A Port Jervis teacher who was charged with grandy larceny and accused of stealing money from the school district has resigned.
The district says Regis Foster resigned as of May 5. Foster, who is also a Port Jervis councilman, was charged with grand larceny for allegedly falsifying documents and stealing money.
He had been reassigned to administrative duties since his arrest last November.
He remains on the City Council.
