An Orange County school district has heightened security while the search for a suspected cop killer continues over the state line in Pennsylvania.
Police officers will be patrolling schools in the Port Jervis School District. School officials say elementary school students will also be staying inside for recess and gym until further notice.
Survivalist Eric Matthew Frein is wanted for allegedly opening fire on police barracks in Pennsylvania on Friday. One state police officer was killed and another was injured.
