It seemed to be business as usual Friday at popular Mexican restaurant Bartaco in Port Chester, just two days removed from a Hepatitis A scare at the location.
According to county health officials, Bartaco has cleaned their restaurant from top to bottom and vaccinated their entire staff after an employee came down with the virus. It passed a recent health inspection.
Health department officials are urging anyone who visited the bar and restaurant between Oct. 12 and Oct. 23 to receive preventative treatment. They say preventative treatment is only effective if given within two weeks of exposure.
Officials say that the restaurant is so popular that they expect to immunize about 3,000 people.
Westchester County Health Commissioner Dr. Sherlita Amler says symptoms include fatigue, nausea and jaundice.
