For the second day in a row, the tight knit community of Port Chester buried another teenager Thursday.
Kemroy Isaacs, 17, died with one of his best friends, Kevin Rodriguez, 18, in a car crash on the Cross County Parkway last weekend. The driver and two other teenage friends were in the car with Isaacs and Rodriguez, but escaped with minor injuries. Police say speed was a factor in the crash.
The young mourners spilling from the Bethesda Baptist Church expressed disbelief, shock and grief. Wearing shirts bearing the names of the two friends they lost at once, the teens must now move on and try and learn from the loss that has united them.
