Pope Francis is visiting the United States this month, and vendors are seizing the opportunity to raise some money.
As the pope prepares for a visit to the nation's capital, papal merchandise is flooding the market.
One of the most popular items is the Pope Francis bobblehead.
Mitch Boersma, COO of the Catholic Information Center, says that people are very excited ahead of the visit.
The center is selling books, T-shirts, rosary beads and even a comic book -- but none move as fast as the bobbleheads, Boersma says.
Street vendors are also selling similar merchandise near the White House. Even the Newseum, a museum focused on journalism, is selling pope-related souvenirs.
"We're really excited to have the opportunity to spread that message and see so many people excited about Pope Francis and the church," Boersma says.
