Pope Francis is back home at the Vatican today after a historic visit to the U.S.
The pontiff's six-day visit to the U.S. wrapped up with a message of love and compassion while celebrating Mass in Philadelphia for more than 1 million people.
The pope departed Sunday night from Philly with a final wave from the plane window.
Before leaving, he urged Americans "blessed with tremendous gifts and opportunities" to remember to give to others.
Then he offered one final prayer, "I will pray for you and your families and I ask you please to pray for me. May God bless you all, God bless America."
