People aren't the ones only ones seeking shelter from the heat this summer.
Health officials are warning pool owners about an invasive bug in the area.
The state Department of Environmental Conservation is asking pool owners to monitor the spread of water beetles. The Asian long-horned beetle is commonly found in chlorine pools.
Officials are asking the public to photograph the bugs and freeze them until the agency responds.
