4h agoA Yonkers man has been charged in a New Rochelle stabbing.
The stabbing happened at the intersection of North Avenue and Clinton Place around 1:30 a.m.
Police say a 23-year-old New Rochelle man said he had been stabbed and gave them a description of the suspect and the vehicle.
The victim is now in stable condition at a hospital.
Police arrested and charged 34-year-old Peter Ortega with assault.
Officials say the stabbing appears to have stemmed from a previous dispute between the two men.
