Another deadly wrong-way crash on the Taconic State Parkway has left a motorcyclist dead and state police looking into what happened.
State police say that 40-year-old Melida Espinal, of Connecticut, didn't know the area when she drove the wrong way and crashed head-on into a motorcycle early Sunday morning on the Taconic State Parkway in Carmel.
Police say 22-year-old motorcyclist Jeffrey Divine, of Stormville in Dutchess County, was killed instantly.
Police say Espinal, who is not facing charges and has not been ticketed, was cooperative.
Authorities have not ruled out alcohol as the investigation continues.
