yesterdayEastchester police say two women arrested for shoplifting also solicited the help of a 10-year-old to steal items from the store.
Police responded to DeCicco & Sons supermarket on Thursday morning.
The defendants and the child, a relative of one of the defendants, were found to have concealed stolen items in reusable bags, officials say.
Nina Figueroa, 38, and 31-year-old Christal Carlson face several charges, including petit larceny and endangering the welfare of a child.
They were released on their own recognizance.
