Police: Ulster County man charged with driving while intoxicated, weapon possession

New York State Police say they stopped Jason Lynch for a traffic violation Tuesday on Broadway and William Street in the City of Newburgh.

An Ulster County man is facing is accused of driving while intoxicated and criminal possession of a weapon.
New York State Police say they stopped Jason Lynch for a traffic violation Tuesday on Broadway and William Street in the City of Newburgh.
Authorities say they arrested him after realizing he was drunk and that his license was suspended.
Troopers also found a loaded gun on him, according to authorities.
Lynch was arraigned and remanded to Orange County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash.
