Police: Teen suspected of car theft jumped in Waterbury lake before drowning
Four teens ran from a stolen car Tuesday before two of them jumped into a lake and one later drowned, Waterbury police say.

4h agoA teen has drowned after running from a stolen car and jumping into a lake in Waterbury.
Waterbury police say they approached a car stolen out of Ridgefield when four teens ran from the vehicle Tuesday afternoon.
They say two of the teens were arrested right away while two others jumped into Lakewood Lake in an attempt to escape.
Officers say one of the teens went under the water and did not come up.
A dive team later recovered his body.
The other teen came out of the water and was arrested.
State police are now investigating the case.
